escaping the gravity me

12 Nov

collage-spirals

One drop of instigation

at the center point

of me

begins the swirling action

that grows

mathematically.

All the tender fronds of one

intertwine upon this dust, this earth which

spins and speeds

around a sun that feeds me thus.

Meanwhile

this solar system clocks in another sum:

rushing thousands

of relative miles

round dark mysteries unsung.

And yet the spinning deep within

can pull me out as well.

My own dark seething works just fine

to suck off my false self.

Tucked away sometimes I am,

pretending that I don’t travel,

though my brain and bones and ears

do register each mile.

The more I camouflage

the more I scream  See Me –

drunk on my own deep fried bullshit

wondering just how to Be –

This road trip that’s so short and fast,

in this well supported host,

shows me that

I circle round

that which I need most.

My choices slim to infinite:

will I sleep and gyre astray or

hammer blast facade away

moving on and out the fray?

Who started on the journey out

is not the same who sees it done.

Who rides the spiral out from here?

Who calls this game some fun?

    Yes!!! I especially love:

    “The more I camouflage

the more I scream See Me -”

    and

“Who started on the journey out

is not the same who sees it done.”

    Wonderful!

to share in words together with you, back and forth, fills me with so much joy!

Way to zoom me out! After a morning of tension, argument and a whole lot of energy dumped into nothing, I am wonderuflly reminded that I am still spinning through this universe, in a far grander journey than the limits of this messy house. I agree with Kelly, I love those lines! As I camflouge into this lower narrative, I have a most intense desire for something grand to see me, something solar. 😉 My choices slim to infinite…I love what you do to my brain M!

some mornings and days are so that way! I know just how you feel, and knowing how it is, I do love that you so nakedly share the tension, the argument, the energy dump, the MESS. Here is a naked share of mine from a while ago: https://lifeasimprov.com/2013/09/14/it-appears-as-if-an-explosion-has-occurred-in-my-daughters-bedroom/
…last week I actually found myself whistling happily as I went into this room – I’m learning so to detach from that idea of the perfect mother i have of order, discipline, control as this growing soul learns her own way. So grateful for the SEEING of me from you, MS. A; you are something grand and solar 🙂

I echo Kelly and Andrea. Swoon zoom right out of the camouflage. Literally. Yes. Your poem took me, in an instant, from the false self to infinity unfettered. Thank you. ❤

Thank you so much for sharing with me here! My trip to your blog land led me into a most wonderful quote: “When you take your attention into the present moment, a certain alertness arises. You become more conscious of what’s around you, but also, strangely, a sense of presence that is both within and without.”
      ~Eckhart Tolle

^_^ actually that was a reblog also 🙂 but I have read all of Tolle’s books 🙂 you have a really cool and one of the most original blogs I have ever seen, even the title, I fell in love with it. 🙂 I’m so glad that we can all commune here and help each other go back to that oneness. ^_^

I so love seeing all the expressions of You/Me. I’m going to post the video that overlapped for me from your blogplace, for I danced with the very same speedy numbers while playing with this poem, 66,600 mph around the sun, and 560,000 mph around the galaxy and “goodness” know the speed through the totality 🙂

A bow to you, my brother and me!

Spinning molecules in their particular motion moving closer and closer to home… how wonderful to have this little packing / cleaning break graced by such wonderful words!

M appreciates the power of M as she who stared out packing last week is not going to be the same she who drives the u-haul truck into the new drive on Friday.

Funny things happen when more space is afoot.

Here is to the love of dust bunnies and you Marga. 🙂

Such a gift and joy is this spinning we share in motion at such speeds and relative distances around such molecules that you and I compose! There is gifting from M to M in connecting and learning and drinking in and funny things happening in new spaces and more spaciousness – well, now, you know that I am front row and center in the heavy lifting and cheering section for M and N in motion toward arts and crafts aboding and big sky coastal views – I am also seeing the new gifting in learning to feel the connecting molecules beyond the traditional ways – Here is back at you with Dust Bunnies and Love and I raise you a toasting in the air tomorrow morn – to the ever changing SHE sporting a rental truck with style! More love than I can ever word wise express. heart squeezes making tears, don’t know why. love! M

Tool. An unexpected surprise! As a casual fan I had no idea of the depth in this song and album. I just knew they were immensely talented musicians and periodically I call upon them to spice up my morning commute. Majesty surrounds us if we but dare recognize it!

So cool you mention tool! I missed out on their music in the 90’s, actually saw them at Lallapalooza, but didn’t pay attention to the depth of the lyrics. My friend exposed me to their music just last year and I’ve been enjoying listening and learning recently. Majesty surrounding, indeed! I just shared the Lateralus video in a few of my classes, at the start of the Poetry unit. Thank you for sharing in the music with me. So glad to see you back on the WP block, Michael!!
