come dance with Me

Every child has known God

Every child has known God,
Not the God of names,
Not the God of don’ts,
Not the God who ever does Anything weird,
But the God who knows only 4 words.
And keeps repeating them, saying:
“Come Dance with Me , come dance.”

I love to watch people who like to move – joy is there.

He’s a cool dancer, but I’m so so tired of people (probably most people in the world under 50) finding it sooooooo incredible and soooooooo shocking when someone over 70 has, you know, a life, like we’re all supposed to shrivel up and die by then or something.

The video makes me smile, not because of this one man’s age (70, really, shocking!), but because of how much all these people seem to enjoy moving together. Most ridiculous title for a video, ever!

Oh yes, I thoroughly loved the dancing, and their joyous energy. I was smiling too.
My reaction to the title comes after a string of seeing similar statements like that one. Ah the hubris of youth 🙂

I love the woman on the right 🙂

There is something about people doing something they enjoy – can’t take my eyes off of them. She’s my favorite too! I feel like I see each one’s perfection for a moment – am I a crazy lady? Don’t answer. 🙂

THAT is a cleaning crew that needs some DISCIPLINE in their lives. 🙂

Awesome palette cleanser. I basically don’t know what just happened. I think if I start now, I might be able to learn that routine before I depart this plane.

Thanks for tasting the mid meal sherbert 🙂

I am with you on the learning curve for this routine – in fact, I think it would take me more time than I’ve got. Maybe my next incarnation will have muscle memory for the dance! I tell myself that these folks have been practicing a long time, but S and my favorite gal on the right I think was born knowing how to move!!

Enjoying your journey story now, taking my time.

Daaaang, look at those moves! I am so moving the furniture out of my way right now. Shoop, shoopy doop and swish those hips and crank up some hmmm…maybe Lionel Richie, All Night Long. LOVE this!
